The 39LE is the third project I worked on at Tiara Yachts. We developed this model using the same hull and many fiberglass parts as the 39LS. In this project, I ideated exterior layouts and continued developing the exterior furniture. I also began developing more deck surfaces and contributed to exterior profile designs.
This image displays the ergonomic flow of the exterior layout. Each boat is prototyped and presented using plywood mockups to validate ergonomics and gain insightful feedback.
We successfully designed this module for use on both the 39LS and 39LE. Reusing this module on two different models optimized both development time and cost.
I designed this aft facing seat with enhanced functionality, featuring a tackle storage insert accessed through the flip down backrest.
I aided in the development of the port articulating seat allowing users to sit facing forward while underway, but also lounge while at rest.
Using the discoveries I made on the 39LS, I designed both port and starboard consoles on the 39LE.
